Skiing in Les Arcs and Paradiski
The ResortsPeisey Vallandry is an alpine resort located within the Les Arcs Ski Domain. Les Arcs in turn is linked to La Plagne by the Vanoise Express, creating a huge ski area, one of the world's largest, called Paradiski. During your stay at a PVR Luxury Chalet, you and your family will be able to access both Les Arcs and La Plagne from just outside your door. Indeed, a lot of our chalets are ski in ski out making it as easy as ever to get out onto the pistes.
Skiing in Peisey VallandryEven before you venture into Les Arcs or La Plagne, Peisey Vallandry itself has more than enough pistes to keep the whole family occupied. With a network of high speed lifts and skiing mainly centred on the tree-lined slopes which curve in huge, wide, arcs back into the heart of Peisey Vallandry. The high-speed Vallandry chairlift which is located only a stone's throw from PVR's Chalet Park takes you directly to the top of the Peisey Vallandry area, where you can turn into the wider Les Arcs area, cruise some of the lovely blue and red runs back into the resort or learn some new skills in the beginners area. For the more advanced skiier, Peisey Vallandry is known for it's fantastic tree skiing and when the snow is falling, it is the perfect place to be.
Skiing in Les ArcsFor skiers and boarders alike, Les Arcs offers an excellent choice of runs with most areas being served by both easy and difficult pistes, making it a great choice for mixed ability groups. With good beginner/intermediate areas together with numerous challenging black runs, including a run to Villaroger which is the longest black run in Europe, over 7km, with a vertical drop of 2000m. The Les Arcs ski area alone has over 50 lifts available with 200km of piste, open for 5 months of the year and with access to La Plagne, via the Vanoise Express, this increases the skiing area to 425km of piste alone! A great resort for the whole family with plenty of terrain to keep skiiers of all abilities occupied.
La Plagne and ParadiskiThe link across the valley to La Plagne, which departs within walking (or skiing) distance of the PVR Chalets, adds another dimension, creating a ski domain to challenge the famous Three Valleys. You can ski here for a lifetime and never get bored!
