Testimonials

"The chalet was in a good location (short walk to the town and ski slope), large, warm, with wonderful views of the valley and mountains and close to the main town of Vallandry that had everything you needed. The place was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The delivery of fresh bread and croissants and wood for the fire by arrangement was fabulous. We would genuinely recommend it to other travellers :)"

Peisey Vallandry

The Village

Peisey Vallandry is an amazing destination on the edge of the Vanoise National Park in the Paradiski area, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world! It is part of the Les Arcs group of resorts and considered by most to be the heart of the Paradiski area due to its proximity to the Vanoise Express cable car giving easy access to both Les Arcs and La Plagne. Peisey Vallandry has a quieter feel to its neighbouring Les Arcs 1800 and consists of mainly traditional high end chalets next to the piste giving it an alpine ambience together with wonderful restaurants serving local food of excellent quality making it a very special place to stay.

You and your family will be able to access both Les Arcs and La Plagne from just outside your door. Peisey Vallandry is a great resort for beginners right up to the advanced snowboarders and skiers. As well as skiing there is a wealth of other things to do from swimming and spas, kids play, dog sledding, walking and Nordic skiing, and once you have finished your day on the piste there is a great selection of fun après-ski bars and classic Savoyard restaurants.

Peisey Vallandry is not a resort to choose if you're looking for crazy nightlife and all night partying but is a great place to go for mixed ability groups with good accommodation and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. It is a fantastic place for families. For those wanting a more lively evening out then it is only a short walk (no road access) over to 1800 where you will find more bars and a nightclub.
