Self Catered Mountain Biking Accommodation in Les Arcs, France

Boasting one of the most comprehensive summer lift networks, hundreds of kilometres of signposted trails, hundreds more natural trails to explore, Les Arcs is undoubtedly one of the most expansive and varied destinations for your mountain bike holiday. There is something for everyone in Les Arcs, from challenging downhill tracks in Les Arc 1600, to fantastic cross country adventures in the higher Tarentaise Valley to epic all mountain riding "off the back" of the lift system.

Once the preserve of guiding companies touting the area as one of the Alps best kept secrets, Les Arcs, in the French Alps, is now one of Mountain Biking's most exciting and accessible destinations. The natural trails the area is famous for, are now well-marked, but remain untouched! In recent years the trail builders have been busy building man-made options to compliment the natural options - Les Arcs is now a destination suited to every type of rider! Downhill, XC, All-Mountain, Enduro, Les Arcs has it all!

Peisey Vallandry Rentals (PVR) is based in the perfectly located village of Vallandry. There is a chairlift a few seconds free-wheel from our Chalet Park and marked singletrack leads straight back into the Chalet Park - or to one of the many lively bars and restaurants within a couple of hundred metres of the Chalet Park. The area that is served directly by the village chairlift will keep you occupied for days with numerous marked and unmarked trails dropping down through nearly 1000 vertical metres of forested terrain. When you feel like branching out a bit further simply hop onto the Vanoise Express, also departing from Vallandry and explore the natural trails in Montchavin and Les Coches. Or perhaps from the top of our village chairlift - roll down on marked singletrack to Bourg St Maurice, Les Arcs 1800, Les Arcs 1600 or Landry! You never have to worry about dropping down too low as the funicular out of Bourg St Maurice is the lowest point in the valley - and runs well into the evening - giving you a guaranteed ticket home!
